THANK YOU FOR RIDING BRIGHTON

THE ASK

Brighton Resort, located just east of Salt Lake City, is known for having one of the best combinations of snow-fall, terrain and community in the world. I was challenged to create a banner seen by thousands everyday that encapsulates Brighton.

APPROACH

The banner itself is housed just behind the new high-speed chair lift, "Crest 6". I created two design choices with the message of "Thank You For Riding Brighton", to show gratitude for the community of visitors and those call Brighton home.

CHOSEN DIRECTION - "POWER HOUR"

One of the key features of Brighton Resort is their extended ride hours from 9am-9pm. As most resorts begin closing at 4pm, Brighton lights up with a pinkish-purple hue from the setting sun creating an unforgettable experience. This approach highlights the golden hour often referred to as "power hour" which makes Brighton unique from its surrounding resorts.

BONUS DIRECTION - "DIGGERS"

Who is responsible for maintaining the near perfect terrain of Brighton Resort? That would be the hard work of the park crew, "Diggers". This approach highlights the harsh conditions the Brighton Diggers work through in order to get the playground ready to ride everyday.
